1.0.4 is quite old at this point so patches should be against trunk from SVN to make sure they apply against the latest codebase instead of the released version. Also the project prefers that patches be kept in Jira for tracking purposes.
Thanks for the contribution though and the patch looks small enough that it should be easy to apply to trunk.
