while in a bridge, the socket doesn't do anything unless you set bind_digit_action or if there is a new event such as hangup.
What do you need to do after the bridge?

Hi I'm trying to implement this scenario using event socket: call hits the dialplan socket application is executed and is answered and a hold music is played. a new call is originated. when the new call is answered an announce is played to a-leg and then I execute intercept on a-leg to bridge it to originated session.
