Im really confused with freeswitch configuration files. I read the online documentation on its website, but im not inclined to use it. But FS's XML is well worth it- It has REGEX support for matching patterns- SO much better than asterisk. You can also route based on many conditions combined, something you have to really FUDGE in asterisk- since the main logic in asterisk depends on the extension dialed.
