Michael, Thanks for the reply. It was initially set to .1. So I first tried 1, and then 5. Then, after a few beers to further impair my judgement, I raised it to 10. None of these had any effect. I see there's a "volume" setting in shout.conf.xml, but it says, "Dont change these unless you are insane". When I insanely try to increase this value, I don't here any difference in volume.
