I want to build from sources but can't get v1.4.stable - is that does not exist any more? And if not - what should I checkout, just v1.4?
Thanks

1.2 configuration should work in 1.4 without any troubles. If you install from sources, you can simply delete and re-install the target directory, and then roll out the old configuration.
If upgrading from binary packages, it should work with just "apt-get upgrade" or "yum update"
