There is an iax module (mod_iax) but we never bothered adding a few things you probably want, such as user directory integration and proper registration support. I'm able to register SIP soft phone and when dial some number I get voice response that number cannot be dialed. But I cannot get MOH working for now I dial 9999, but have no sound. It is possible to be my mistake on modules (I've tried to install wikiPBX, but had problems with dependencies). Will investigate more.
Actually my question was about IAX support, can I use IAX clients instead of SIP and how to configure it. Simple link to documentation will suffice since I cannot find it.

This isn't really one of those edge cases that you can't really make it just work. The client behind PAT will have to be told what RTP Port ranges to use.. sip port to use and what its external IP is. That in itself is outside the scope of FreeSWITCH. As for the other side it should work as long as you setup the ext-rtp-ip and ext-sip- ip. I don't think this scenario is one that many get working without a really good understanding of what is going on.

For now it is only test setup, but later I may have connection to VoIP provider.
My expierence with IAX over bad ISPs is very good and I prefer using it for certain extensions. And his protocol does not require special NAT traversal. In addition if you experierence high lag and jutter his buffer is really good.
