Hi all, i modified the source code in mod_dialplan_xml.c to distinguish between "Open of dialplan failed" error messages. The call die on the dialplan_xml_locate that does not find a dialplan even if it's defined in xml_curl.conf.xml as described below and from the freeswitch.xml the loading of dialplan from file has been removed . I noticed that FS 17084 vs 16272 have a lot of change in mod_dialplan_xml.c , maybe there's some bug and/or some new syntax to be used to make dynamic lookup of dialplan via xml_curl ? yesterday i spent half a day trying to figure out what was happening in trying to move a configuration (that lookup dynamically via mod_xml_curl directory and dialplan) from FreeSWITCH version 16272M to 17084M .
I've done a clean install and just moved only the few lines required by hand. Didn't worked: - On registration dynamic lookup works fine and users can login with password stored on remote server - On dial dynamic lookup of dialplan does not work and die with: 2010-03-25 08:33:47.777741 [ERR] mod_dialplan_xml.c:440 Open of dialplan failed
I also tried to get the whoole /usr/local/freeswitch/conf of version "FreeSWITCH Version 1.0.5-20100109-0400 (16272M)" and put it as a replacement on top of the "FreeSWITCH Version 1.0.5-20100321-0400 (17084M)" but the problem remain exactly the same: - Registration works via dynamic lookup via mod_xml_curl - Dialing does not work and dynamic lookup via mod_xml_curl does not work
In both case the configuration regarding mod_xml_curl is the following that works on 16272M but does not work on 17084M and is written in autoload_configs/xml_curl.conf.xml <binding name="directory"> <param name="gateway-url" value="http://xxx/directory" bindings="directory"/> <param name="auth-scheme" value="digest"/> </binding> <binding name="dialplan"> <param name="gateway-url" value="http://xxx/dialplan" bindings="dialplan"/> </binding>

The same configuration works on 16272M but is broken on 17084M .
There's some modification that was done to dialplan and/or to mod_xml_curl that could cause this issue?
Is there some specific debugging i can do to understand if it's a bug (like it seems) or some configuration parameters changed regarding the dialplan lookup via mod_xml_curl ?
