[Freeswitch-users] Best practices for recording audio prompts

Hello, Can anyone share some tips about recording good audio prompts? We ideally would like to have them in a variety of sample rates (as they will be used internally as well as when callers dial in from PSTN) to avoid resampling as much as possible. What should it be recorded as originally? Would we then just use sox to resample? Any good apps for Windows? (I haven't used Windows in many years but the person who will be recording would be). Any other considerations to take into account would be greatly appreciated.. it's our first time recording our own set of prompts. Thanks Mike
