Then, I'm probably doing something very wrong. In my/usr/local/freeswitch/conf/dialplan/public.xml, I have the following: <extension name="public_extensions"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^(.*)$"> <action application="set" data="ringback=%(2000,4000,440.0,480.0)"/> <action application="gentones" data="${bong-ring}"/> </condition> </extension> and in /conf/sip_profiles/external/gafachi.xml, I have the following: <include> <gateway name="sip.gafachi.com"> <param name="username" value="<my gafachi assigned username>"/> <param name="password" value="<my gafachi assigned password>"/> <param name="register" value="true"/> </gateway> </include> freeswitch doesn't even show in the logs that it is being contacted. And Gafachi doesn't show either that Freeswitch is registered. Any idea? klaus. -------- Original-Nachricht --------

That does an outbound register also notice the register=true ;) I recommend putting it on the external profile then mapping all your did's in the public.xml file (aka the public context)

Thanks Brian,
unless i'm missing something, that link only contains instructions about termination. My question is about origination (inbound calls).
