Wow, that was some set of circumstances. Could you add this to the wiki under http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Interop_List#Linksys_Products... there's no section for a SPA9000 but this is the perfect kind of information that should be listed there. Finally solved after more than 1 year while preparing traces! I am posting this in case someone else has a similar problem with Cisco/Linksys SPA phones and FreeSwitch paging. the problem and solution is: If multiple PBX systems are configured on extensions, for instance, in my case Ext 1-4 was configured for the SPA9000 which was powered off, and Ext 5-6 was configured for FreeSwitch: *Only the PBX configured for Extension 1 can page and be paged. *Once I swapped ext 1 and 5 paging worked without having to power up/down the SPA9000, it is finally removed and FS paging works fine. See below for symptoms.

Scoured web sites, traces, etc. for a year no luck. Anyone out there with some info?
Can't get paging to work on Linksys SPA962s, I have check the multicast address and it matches FS. Here is what happens: If I connect my old Linksys SPA9000 PBX and power it on, then turn it off, FreeSwitch paging works on all the phone! If a phone is powered off, FreeSwitch paging no longer works on that phone. Power on/off SPA9000 and all is well. Anyone out there have it working that could tell me the secret? I am using *11 to page to trigger the rtp_multicast_page extension. Thanks in advance! MarioG
