Hi list, I'm inferring that since the content on Dialplan/Variables is the same as on the legacy wiki individual variable pages that the links on Dialplan/Channel Variables can be updated to reflect this. I am going by section, so it can be easily reverted if this wasn't intended. ry
I'm pretty sure that was one of the huge pages that at least one editor made a start on updating, but I don't think was finished. So you might find at least 2 similar pages, perhaps more. The links to the old mediawiki should be updated throughout, as long as there exist targets for the new links that is :-) Thanks. Dialplan/Variables and Dialplan/Channel Variables look to be mostly complete, they links just need to be updated. I'll be finished in a few hours updating the heading links. I'll do a second pass to get the links in the body.

They map pretty well, I just slice the URL, and replace Variable_ with Variables# and boom a confluence link. Don't worry - I'm checking the links to make sure they work.
You might find it helpful to click the triple dot ... menu in the upper right, and select "Page Information" which provides a list of Outgoing Links on that page. It sure beats mousing over each and every one. For all I know there might be a way to write a Confluence script that spits out links contained on each page so that we can search and destroy Wikimedia links? I started splitting and grouping the variables, but never found the time to finalise them. I'll be glad to hand this work over to someone. On Jan 29, 2018 15:33, "Ryan Harris" <ryharris@airmail.cc> wrote:

we can make a Skype call with screen sharing if you like. But not today :) The main motivation was that one huge page is too difficult to use and maintain. So I started splitting it up into several functional sections: the core variables, CDR variables, mod_sofia, and so on. Also application-specific variables went to the corresponding module page, like mod_conference or mod_spandsp. Also there's a bunch of timer variables that pop up at the end of a call, and I put them all in a table, instead of having them in a flat list, because they are functionally similar. Also I removed references to source code because they were outdated and irrelevant. Also "temp switch core variables" is simply a list of variables that found in the source code and that need to be documented. So, in the end it should be documentation that is easy to use and to edit. Feel free to add me in skype (ssinyagin) or Telegram (@ssinyagin) if you have questions. What was your goal with splitting them out? I want to make sure I'm following the same vision.
