Mike, Thanks for reply, Sangoma did confirmed that case. Will try doing that with less num. of cards! On 23 October 2006 18:01, Michael Jerris wrote:
If I recall, (sangoma may correct me on this) your going to have higher interrupts if you have more cards, you may be better off with quad or the new 8 port card. That being said, no matter what you use on asterisk, I suspect 10 E1's will be too much from what I have seen. Also, I think that you would be much better off to use sip to interoperate with asterisk or other freeswitch on both the asterisk and freeswitch side.

Hi Men!
Looking for an advice of using Freeswitch ove Asterisk. I'm looking for a way to bridge a lot of TDM PRI calls usind SANGOMA hardware, and I found that Asterisk just is not so capable on high volume calls (10xE1 on 5xDualPort cards) . I suppose Freeswitch should be more capable of doind so. Asterisk eats full CPU on ~80 calls with no transcoding and no echo cancel. Is Freeswitch capable to do so and if yes can it reliably interoperate over IAX2 with other servers * and Freeswitch?
Would be gratefull for any advice, With best regards, Anton.
