If you update to newest trunk, there is support for including other xml files in the main freeswitch.xml, that should address this requirement. Mike

How soon can I except FS to read multiply config files for each section instead of one, monolithic freeswitch.xml ? I do not like the concept of sipXconfig generating the whole freeswitch.xml file instead of a small dialplan.xml/whatever.
This may sound silly, but what about something like
cat fs-top.xml dialplan.xml fs-bottom.xml > freeswitch.xml
just before reloading the configuration? Stéphane
