You need to use the "system" application. Probably this is what you need: command_args = "record_post_process_exec_app=system /usr/local/freeswitch/bin/post_recording /usr/local/freeswitch/temp_recording/victor8.wav"; -MC On Wed, Mar 7, 2012 at 3:28 PM, <victor.velo@videotron.ca> wrote:
Hello,
I get the latest code, and now I have an error message "Invalid application ..." Do I have to build a module to use as a post recording app?
Thanks,

Hello,
I'm trying to activate a post recording program from an ESL script using the "record_post_process_exec_app" channel variable.
Like this:
command_args = "record_post_process_exec_app=/usr/local/freeswitch/bin/post_recording /usr/local/freeswitch/temp_recording/victor8.wav"; myconn.execute("set", command_args.c_str(), legA_uuid.c_str());
and then wait for the execution to complete... etc.
Afterward I start the recording...
command_args = "api uuid_record "+legA_uuid+" start /usr/local/freeswitch/temp-recording/victor8.wav"; current_event = myconn.sendRecv(command_args.c_str());
My understanding is that the "record_post_process_exec_app" will be started (automatically) when the recording ends.This is but not happen..., Do I miss something?

Another question is about the possibility to record legA in mono 8bit (mixed) like LegB recording. How could I overwrite this setting?
Thanks in advance,
Victor
