[Freeswitch-users] Controlling tones for RFC2833 DTMFs

Hi,

If Freeswitch receives rfc2833 DTMFs, given that these DTMFs are
out-of-band, does Freeswitch generate a tone to indicate to the user that a
key has been pressed?

Assuming it does, is there a way to prevent the tone from being generated,
i.e. so the user doesn't hear anything when a key is pressed?
