There are several middleware software packages out there that let you integrate the 2. Most just integrate the phone with salesforce.

The freeswitch side is probably just an esl listener to grab caller id info when call hits the "agent" ...
on the web side, its probably something that talks to a daemon over websocket, or an app that listens some other way, and pops the browser window searching with some of the info from the call, likely just hte salesforce search?  I would implement it hitting your own url with the metadata so you can easily change the lookup to whatever and you can then redir the http request to the right thing?

Hi

It is probably not a freeswitch question, however as a place to start, does anyone have experience in setting up integration of salesforce and freeswitch, what  documentation  best to follow, advice or offline consultancy for it.
