[Freeswitch-users] How to customize voicemail greeting number ?

Why should it work? When you set it in the dial plan the way you’ve put it in your message, you are setting it on the channel that executes that dial plan extension. It’s not going to set it as a user variable for the person you’re calling.
Sorry but as far as I know this has to be set as a user parameter as described in the documentation
