[Freeswitch-users] Qualify a gateway and interact with it before using it..

Dispatcher module in Kamailio can do that: you define the gateways and
their priorities, and the module sends periodic SIP OPTIONS pings to
them.

So, one of the options is to install Kamailio and hand over the call to it.
