[Freeswitch-users] Effectiver Caller ID with Sipgate-Trunk

Hi,

In sipgate basic, the transferred caller id number must be set in the 
P-Preferred-Identity, which should be set through 
effective_caller_id_number afaik.
This is the same with sipgate trunking:

Please keep in mind that sipgate requires the number in the e164 format:
P-Preferred-Identity: <sip:4921158000000 at sipconnect.sipgate.de>
-> no leading zeros and the number with the country code and with the 
correct sipconnect.sipgate.de domain.

A friend of mine once mentioned that sipgate does only accept outgoing 
numbers which are associated with your account, you can't extend the 
number further than your account allows. In contast to other sipgate 
products, you can not use other outgoing numbers like mobile phone numbers.
