[Freeswitch-users] Issues creating/modifying FreeSWITCH files after using MSI installation in Windows 8

As I mentioned in my initial message, that's exactly what I planned to do...and did...about 5 mins after I sent it. Also, fwiw, you can't really disable UAC in Windows 8. The only option that exists is to disable the UAC prompting, but even after doing so the underlying framework remains intact.<br/><br/>The only way I've ever seen to get rid of it completely is to disable it in the registry...but doing so purportedly actually breaks certain functionality of the operating system. Nevertheless, it's working just fine now that it's somewhere other than Program Files.<br/><br/>Jeremy<br/><br/><br/>
