Hi. I doubt you really have to worry about the format, especially in USA.
It's generally standard SIP.
By manual setup I meant that it requires a phone call, perhaps paperwork,
and account approval (e.g. That you have enough traffic.)
I think all USA carriers support porting your number. If they charge over
10 that's probably not wholesale pricing ...
I don't really have the time or inclination to write a full guide on
origination companies, sorry...
What country and channel usage do you need? Supplies of 2 channel numbers
is different than more/unlimited channels.
Also, I can provide DIDs... Want to be in touch with me off-list and
explain what you're looking for?
