[Freeswitch-users] Sending arbitrary NOTIFY messages

Has anyone gotten the magic formula down for doing this? I'm trying to send
a NOTIFY to a non-registered endpoint but I can't quite get the event
headers correct. I found this old commit that Tony did about 3 years ago
that suggests it's possible:

If you know what the necessary headers are, or better yet, if you have a
working example please let me know. And yes, I will gladly pay the wiki tax
on this one. ;)
