[Freeswitch-users] Sofia fails to detect offline gateway

Ok, I've figured it out. It turns out the problem was
  <param name="ping-min" value="1"/>

This was stopping the ping count dropping below 1, so it never reached 0 so
never marked the gateway as down.

ping-min and ping-max aren't very well documented on the wiki. I can see
what ping-max is for (determines the number of failed pings before the
gateway is marked as down, so it doesn't matter is an occasional request
fails), but what's the purpose of ping-min?
