[Freeswitch-users] error loading mod_file_string

This sounds like it just wasn't compiled. Try manually compiling the module.
cd /usr/src/freeswitch && make mod_file_string-install
Make sure you edit modules.conf and uncomment the mod_file_string line to
enable this to be built upon every 'make current'
