Did you read the statements by FreeSWITCH developers indicating that the svn
trunk is usually more stable than "released" versions, and that this is at
least partly due to a lack of testers/testing prior to release?
A change of policy isn't going to address those underlying problems.
For the record, I don't favour the proposed change.
