Generally I won't make a recommendation on things like this beyond  
saying that regardless of what you choose, you should properly test it  
and verify that it is stable and suitable for your purposes.  Windows  
may work fine for you, it may not, the same goes for linux or anything  
else, the only way to know for sure is to try it and see if it fits  
your needs or not.
