[Freeswitch-users] Conference How to?

I would like to test the FreeSwitch conference app for use as a WIDEBAND conference server. I have a few questions.

1. Can I connect to the FreeSwitch server with IDEFisk (IAX softphone) clients using the Speex codec? 

2. Does this provide better quality than using Asterisk as the server? If so, why?

3. Will it run on the latest CentOs Server OS?

4. Is there documentation for simple "up and running" functionality tests?
