I have updated

with a note that bypass_media_after_bridge is not implemented in Verto.

 

We have a plethora of pages discussing variables, including this variable:

I believe that Stanislav has created and is editing Switch Core Variables since there have been a number of changes with those variables recently.

 

The other 2 pages have overlap. What is the current thinking on how to handle all these many variables pages?

That is my take: with verto you set bypass-media, you set ignore-early-media, you don't answer, you don't preanswer, and you bridge.
Eg: you don't want to re-invite.

I'm trying to bypass media after a bridge, and I'm getting no audio after the following command is executed.

 

bridge {bypass_media_after_bridge=true,absolute_codec_string=PCMU}sofia/external/<sipuri>

 

If I do the same thing without bypass_media_after_bridge, everything works ok.

 

Any ideas?
