[Freeswitch-users] Configuring FreeSWITCH for federation with other platforms

FreeSWITCH has an XMPP end point built in, its called mod_dingaling. however
FS is not an XMPP server.

But then again SIP itself lends itself well to federation..

The real question is what is your end goal for this federation setup?

Subject: [Freeswitch-users] Configuring FreeSWITCH for federation with other
platforms

Hi All,

Has anyone tried or have any guidance on configuring FreeSWITCH for
federation with other platforms (i.e. via XMPP using DNS)?

I've looked at SylkServer but as far as I can tell it's a closed platform on
SIP2SIP\SIP Thor.

Perhaps this might be possible using Openfire integration with FreeSWITCH?

Thanks,

Shaun
