[Freeswitch-users] Recorded session contains additional audio

Hi FS experts!

When using uuid_record to record a session, if the recording is stopped and then restarted before the call has been hungup, the second recording includes the audio frames which occurred after the 'stop' command was issued (but before the following 'start'). This leads to the second recording being preceded by a period of silence or unwanted audio. Is this expected behaviour? If so, is there any way to flush the FreeSWITCH's internal audio buffers so that the second recording contains frames from the point where the 'start' command was issued only?

Kind regards,
Chris
