Thank you Stanislav, I thought that might be the case, time to dig again.

I think the only way to do this is to write an ESL application which would receive the presence events and process them, and then route the inbound call according to the current presence state.

You may also try to read directly from Sofia's presence database.

so, needs some engineering and testing effort.

We have freeswitch running in the shared line mode with Grandstream 2130 phones, works really well. There is one item that would make it better. When a phone goes off hook, it does illuminate the associated line on all other phones with the same shared line, however, I cannot stop an inbound call from hitting this line as someone is dialing. Is there a way to check the status/presence of this an extension in the dialplan, if so, this would solve the issue.

I forward the Registrations to FS because it does a fantastic job of handling presence (BLF, SLA, SCA, etc...)

imho this is quite a strange scheme. Why not to keep all registrations on Kamailio? Register should be used in front of users.

          Hi all,

I have two FS boxes that share same database. These two boxes are behind two kamailio sip proxies. When a sip proxy receives a successful registration, it replicates the registration to one of FS boxes with a path variable. The FS box that receives registration writes this data to database. Everything goes well at this scenario. But when I check, registration numbers are inconsistent.

"sofia status profile internal reg" command shows all the records in the DB and matches at two FS boxes. But "show registrations" shows less than half of these records and numbbers are different at two FS boxes. I think that's why some users get UNALLOCATED_NUMBER error when they receive a call from opposite FS box.

Is there anything that I miss at this setup? Or what is the common setup for such a cluster?

          /Volkan Oransoy
