[Freeswitch-users] mod_conference / OPUS / 100 participants -> Bad Quality

To elaborate on what Brian means by a stateful codec, it means that the 
codec can always be changing the parameters it uses to perform the 
compression with at any point in time even on a single call.  You cannot 
just inject an opus bitstream into an existing call as it may have been 
compressed with totally different parameters, and all you would hear is 
garbled static.  This is also why there is no way to record sound files 
in the opus codec for use within FS IVR's, as the files would need to 
first be converted back to slin, then from slin back to opus for that 
given call.
