I may be wrong, but I think the MP2000 comes out of the box with only 
T.37 support, and you need to pay for an option to get T.38 support.

Are you expecting the Ricoh FAX2000L to support T.38 too? I don't think 
it does. Its manual is easy to get, though. Its available from the very 
obscurely named www.ricoh.com
