Intercept would potentially work

but why so complicated?

Subject: [Freeswitch-users] General SIP question and FS possibilities

Hello,

How do you group two call legs together when the first is originated by a different server than the second one?

For example:

FreeSWITCH 1 ----------------- FreeSWITCH 2.

A call is originated from FS1 to FS2.
FS2 processes the call, plays some messages etc.
Within the first call leg, FS2 originates a second call leg to FS1.

A solution would be to append the CallID of the first call leg as a new header in the INVITE of the second leg. This solution is from the FS2 point of view.
What if we want FS1 to be able to detect two calls are within the same ‘session’. Is that possible?

Regards,

Grant
