[Freeswitch-users] Ring an extension on incoming calls

Polycoms allow you to send a message to a phone via XHTML or SIP SIMPLE
message depending on the phone. Some other venders allow something similar.
That would be the most reliable and/or cleanest. Alternatively you can send
the call to an extension for a split second then as the bridge fails
(timeout expires, no one picks up) you can failover to the IVR. What is the
make and model of the phone you are sending the call to and the firmware
revision? We can give you a better answer if we know.
