The phones are worn out anyway - but I was thinking it would be better to use something loop 
powered.. or I could use PoE ..

The Sangoma run about $1600/ea - or over $3k for 24 lines.. Cards in the computer.. or $125/line
The GXW4008 is a network device - provides 8 FXS ports for $173 or $22/line
or GXW4024 at $20 w/power supply or $17/line

wifi voip phones - about $200/line

Thanks for the info - puzzled as to why phone PCI cards would be so much more than a system.
