[Freeswitch-users] DTMF delay when using FreeSWITCH

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion Anthony.

Should I set this variable in combination with anything else?
If not I don't really think it improved much.

Even in pass through FS messes up with DTMFs and it makes it unusable, even just for the purpose of "scalability".

I find it sad to see a clear improvement so simply discarded. There are many scenarios where realtime DTMFs can be used and where FS wouldn't be able to fit the bill at its current stage.

My situation is that I have people making long recordings over the phone and often need to pause in the middle of paragraphs or long sentences. With the delay as it is, the pause becomes very noticeable and uncomfortable.

And for those who may suggest to trim silences with Sox, not all pauses are silent.

Best,
Emrah
