Incidentally you may also get timing issues on a VPS since other guests/the host can unpredictably steal CPU time away from your guest, so it's harder to get reliable timings. That'd most likely present itself as lags or audio glitches where frames are dropped.

Shouldn't cause one way audio or echo though.
