[Freeswitch-users] Fs compatible phones?

Hi All,

New to this tech and a bit confused on what to buy/features etc.

I'm looking for a basic desk phone, perhaps with a few speed dial and
maybe gee-wiz buttons. I found this one with a decent price 3Com NBX
1102 but the ad states Requires R4.X system software or greater.   Not
sure what this is nor do I need to?

If I buy "any" digital phone that has a rj-45 ethernet jack  does that
automatically mean it's compatible?

	Cisco CP-7940G Unified IP Phone

I was looking at a few grand stream models but the reviews lead me to
move on
