[Freeswitch-users] script vs scripts directories, what's the difference ?

My freeswitch base directory contains the following directories :

bin
conf
db
grammar
htdocs
include
lib
log
mod
recordin
run
script
scripts
sounds
storage


What's the difference between "script" and "scripts" ?   Seems a bit silly to me to have such confusingly similar names in the same parent directory !
