[Freeswitch-users] Efficient way to query freeswitch - status and info

Hi All,

I would like to find a better[efficient] way to query freeswitch. I
am implementing a dashboard [PHP/Jquery] to view status of freeswitch.Lets
assume system is a busy and always 100+ active calls.

I want to know the following info

1. show calls
2. Sofia status
3. show channels
etc

What is the better direction to implement this

a. Query Data Base tables

or

b. Event Library

or

?
