If something changed in gcc which makes FreeSWITCH compilation fail,
especially on RHEL/CentOS/SL 6.0/6.1 then that should be fixed in
FreeSWITCH. Deploying an unsupported version of gcc just to be able to
compile FreeSWITCH does not make sense.

Since the release of RHEL 6 & 6.1 I have come across several software
packages that no longer compiled. They compiled again after the
developers got a proper bug report so they could create a fix. It would
make sense if something similar was done for FreeSWITCH.

Regards,
Patrick
