Hi Michael,

I've tried to get a quote request for this module from consulting at freeswitch.org<mailto:consulting at freeswitch.org> a few times with no luck so far. Sorry that I mentioned it on this on this thread, but I wanted to take advantage of the fact that you're talking about it to see if I can get any feedback from the guys at FS.

Thanks,
Hector

The closest thing we have is play_and_get_digits. Now, if you're trying to do answering machine detection there is a commercial module (mod_amd) available from consulting at freeswitch.org<mailto:consulting at freeswitch.org>. It is very reasonably priced.

Hello List.

Ive been trying to find a function equal to what BackgroundDetect does in Asterisk.
Anybody got an idea on how I could implement the functionality in Freeswitch?

I use it in IVR services, to detect when a caller interrupts the currently playing prompt.
