[Freeswitch-users] Kernel timer, how does that affect FS?

Hi all.

I just saw a post (in this mailing list) recently regarding the kernel
timer in Linux and how it affects sound quality in FS.

Can anyone help me understand what the kernel timer does, how it affects FS
and how to solve a possible problem on Linux?
