[Freeswitch-users] How to add a new language

First check:
/usr/local/freeswitch/conf/freeswitch.xml and see if you have a line like:
<X-PRE-PROCESS cmd="include" data="lang/es/*.xml"/>

It should be inside the <section name="phrases" description="Speech Phrase
Management">
