Mexico, Brazil and Argentina come to my mind as the major users. But
other country variants are implemented too.

FreeTDM itself does not have any limitations per country, but uses the
openr2 library which is the one implementing the variants across
countries.

Be aware you need the trunk version of libopenr2 to work with FreeSWITCH.
