Peter is using hardy 64 bit. I checked on that.

But, let me understand: if you're using a static build, why you have a
problem with QT?
Is actually Qt to be statically linked...

what is the results of:

ldd skype

Anyway, in a short while I'll check that on centos 5.4 too, and I'll report here
