[Freeswitch-users] SIP MESSAGE requests

While FS does handle MESSAGE the interface has always struck me as a bit odd...

For example, why don't FS messages hit the dialplan to provide for
some ability to route them if I want to?

In my case I typically use FS as an SBC facing carriers... If a
carrier sends me a MESSAGE FS will generate an event. While I *could*
do something with that, I suppose, I'd much rather have it hit the
dialplan where I can use some logic to handle it. I could see at
least the following:

- Post to an HTTP server
- Route to another SIP endpoint
- LUA!
- Generate an event (as it does now)

Smells like a bounty...
