freeswitch isn't a sip proxy
freeswitch is a media switching project growing up from a softphone up 
to a carrier grade softswitch/SBC but not a sip proxy
check:
Kamailio/Sip-Router Projects <http://www.kamailio.org>
OpenSips project <http://www.opensips.org>
don't by confused, this projects is both derived from openser that's 
becaume kamailio
