TIP #1
you need to know what's going inside your fake X server, install x11vnc
server, make it to serve your fake display server port e.g. :101, now
connect with this vnc server using a vnc client on your desktop and see
what's actually happening inside the X and what's the behavior of Skype
client -- Visually.
